Wednesday, January 24th, 2007This morning I did the FIRM’s Time Crunch Workout. I was looking forward to a total body, heavy weight workout, but unfortunately I didn’t like this one. Maybe I was expecting too much from it, but I didn’t finish the workout feeling very satisfied. I didn’t get my heart rate up like I wanted to and most of the upper body work seemed to center around the shoulders. I wanted to work the triceps and biceps. No lying chest work. No leg presses either. I spent 45 minutes on this workout and only burned 221 calories. Oh well. I plan to run tonight after work, so I have that to look forward to.
EVENING UPDATE: Checking back in this evening with 3 miles ran on the treadmill. That gives me an additional 385 calories burned. I previewed my workout for tomorrow while I ran. I will just sum it by saying, “Owe!”
