Finally ran 3 miles today. Had to do it on the treadmill though because it was too dark out by the time I got around to it. Felt really good, but my back is a little tight so I think yoga will be called for in the morning tomorrow.

I am recovering from sugar shock yesterday. Who decided to make Jelly Belly and Starburst jelly beans in the first place? They are evil. Jelly Beans aren’t meant to taste that good. Ok back to work:

April 7 – Exercise Journal

For those of you not in the know I have been nursing an injured back for the last week and a half. Lots of rest and no exercise. Today I finally started back up…slowly. I started out with The FIRM’s Slim and Sculpt Yoga hosted by Allie Del Rio. She is by far my favorite FIRM instructor, so it was really nice getting back on track with her leading the way. I followed it up with a 1 mile run. Not exactly a long distance, but I want to do 3 miles outside tomorrow and I knew 2 on the treadmill today would probably make me too sore to head out the door tomorrow. Feels great to be back to moving again.

April 6 – Food Journal

Ok, I am getting back to journalling my food since I am little softer around the middle right now than I would like. Also my 14s are getting tight and that scares me. :/ I need to get back to my 12s. Here’s my food for today:

I am in the process of adding content to the website. I started with the “Body” section by adding my weight loss journey and am part way done the “Tools of the Trade” page.  I am not sure that the “TofT” page will stay the way it is though.  I am thinking of splitting it into a couple smaller pages because as I started writing I realized it was a lot of content for one page.
