So good news, I tested negative for Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Bad news, there is some sort of systematic inflammation in my system which may be a pre-cursor to Lupus. My Mom has been testing negative for Lupus for a really long time, but was showing the symptoms. Just recently she actually started testing positive for Lupus and every now and then she will still have a negative test come back. This apparently is a characteristic of the disease itself. My doctor recommended me to see a Rheumatologist to see if they can figure out what is going on. She hopes that if I get a doctor that treats aggressively that we can go ahead and start treating the Lupus and see if it has an impact on my test results. I guess we will have to wait till November 14th to see because that is the earliest appointment I could get with the specialist.
