Active Yogurt Cultures

Friday, January 30th, 2004

I am sitting here consuming my daily dose of active yogurt cultures in the form of Breyer’s Fruit on the Bottom Strawberry Yogurt. It isn’t the Dannon Fit and Lean Vanilla Cherry brand I usually prefer, but I am making do with what I have.

I have already been at work for an hour and a half and am ready for the day to be over. The only thing that I have to look forward to until 3 PM is the witty banter about demon squirrels, the Simpsons and Dean Koontz that I exchange with Lachrymose through the PM system in the SkullzDotForumz.

The only thing I have planned for the weekend is to work on homework and sleep in. Hey I never claimed that my life was exciting. I never even said it wasn’t boring.

Revisiting the Past

I decided to go back to my comcast webspace and check out what I had going on there. Looks like the original layout for Katier.com is still lying around. I enjoyed searching it for nostalgias sake and thought some readers may be able to do the same. That layout is Apok’s enterpretation of my original idea. Be forewarned there are some broken links and remote linking problems. If you want to go really old school check out my Geocities site.

Also I finally got the smilies to show up in my comments section, so emoticon away people!

Journey from the End

Wednesday, January 28th, 2004

I sit and redream all the dreams I had of our future,
and try to remind myself that they will never come true,
the dog, the children and the white picket fences,
will never be something shared between me and you.
I had finally settled down and could rest at night,
I had believed my long search was finally done,
but now I must pack my bags and restart that journey,
you have stood up and declared that you are not the one.
It will come one day that I can sit back,
laugh with you and refer to you as friend,
but now I am in too much denial,
because we are too close to what was the end.

Leaving Some Kids Behind

I found this article interesting. As a former student of the Gifted and Talented programs in Baltimore County schools I can tell you that my secondary school education would have been much different without it and I am really not a big fan of them being slashed. I started a thread for discussion over and the SkullzDotForums.
