Here’s my food for today:

Morning
1/2 cup Stonyfield Plain Organic Yogurt and 1/3 cup blueberries 1.5 pts
Kashi Chewey Honey Almond Flax Bar 2 pts
4 Whole Wheat Pancakes with sugar free syrup 5.5 pts
Afternoon
Chicken Tetrazzini 5 pts
Sargento Mozzerella Cheese Stick 1 pt
Cherries 1 pt
Evening
Carraba’s Plain Salmon – 1/2 portion
1/2 cup Plain Cavatappi 2 pts
Salad with dressning 2 pts

I decided that I am not going to have the bread with olive oil tonight to try to limit my carb intake.  Wish my luck on that one.  Bread is my weakness, especially when there is something yummy to dip it in.

Dedication Paying Off

So my rededication to my diet is paying off so far.  I am looking forward to going to Weight Watchers on Sunday and getting an official weight.  I do have some challenges until then.  Tomorrow is a trip downtown and most likely a trip to the Cheesecake Factory.  Ouch!  I will try my best to make a healthy decision and watch my portions because I don’t want to blow my weigh-in on Sunday.  It isn’t worth it.

Jan 25 – Exercise Journal

Tonight I did Tracie Long Training’s FIRM Your Core with Susan Harris.  Coincidentally Susan also led the workout I did with the FIRM yesterday.  This one I really enjoyed.  I burned about 176 calories, but considering the workout really focused on the core and my bum was really sore from my run yesterday it was still a REALLY good burn.  I can’t wait to see what I do with this workout next time.

My food for today ended up totally 31.5 pts. I was hoping to get 4 activity points from my workout but only got 2. The food I ate was very good quality though, so I think I am still doing good. Here is what the day looked like:

Sargento Reduced Fat Mozzarella Cheese Stick 1 pt

Evening
Chicken Breast and green pepper marinated in Newman’s Own Sesame Dressing 5.5 pts

Healthy Choice Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup 3 pts

Sargento Reduced Fat String Cheese 1 pt
1 cup Cucumber 0 pt
1 packet Swiss Miss Sugar Free Hot Chocolate Mix with hot water 1 pt
Dinner:
Pizza Hut Salad 1 pt
1 tsp olive oil, 2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar, spices 1 pt
Easy Chicken Tetrazzini 5 pts
Whole Wheat Matzo Board with organic Raspberry Jam 3 pts
Snack:
1/2 large banana, 1 cp skim milk, protein powder 3.5 pts
Hershey 100 Calorie Wafers 2 pts

That actually rounds out to a perfect eating day for me.   I did use 1.5 flex points, but I got some great workouts and made sure that a met all of my nutritional needs, including that ever present chocolate fix, lol.
